Svetlana Sterlin (she/her) is a writer based in Brisbane, Australia, where she completed a BFA, contributes to Our Culture Magazine, reads for Split Rock Review, interns with The Suburban Review, and edits fiction with Voiceworks. Her writing appears in Meanjin, Cordite, Voiceworks, Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review, Entropy, HASH, the anthology Within/Without These Walls (AndAlso Books), and elsewhere. She's the founding editor of swim meet lit mag.
Svetlana's TV pilot, FINS, was selected by Screen Queensland for Stowe Story Labs' October 2021 Retreat and shortlisted in Queensland Writers Centre's 2021 Scriptable program. Her short script After School earned an Honourable Mention in Barnstorm Media's 2021 BOLT contest.
